Terms and Conditions for Alteration Services
Effective 29 May, 2025

1. Consultations and Appointments
All appointments are subject to bookings.

Missed or late appointments (over 15 minutes) may need to be rescheduled.

Please bring the shoes and undergarments you plan to wear with the dress, as they are essential for accurate measurements. Without shoes, we will be unable to take proper fittings.

2. Deposits and Payments
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to book alteration services.
The balance is due at or before the final fitting. We accept cash and bank transfer.

3. Alteration Timelines
We recommend booking your first fitting at least 6 weeks before the event. Rush orders may be accommodated for an additional fee, depending on availability.

4. Dress Condition and Quality Assurance
All garments must be clean and in good condition.
We are not responsible for damages caused by previous alterations or poor-quality materials.

While we take pride in our work and strive for the highest standards of craftsmanship, please understand that the final fit and appearance of the dress depend on the original design and fabric.

5. Liability Disclaimer
While we take great care in our work, we are not responsible for dissatisfaction due to weight fluctuations, changes in style preferences, or unrealistic expectations of what can be achieved through alterations.

We will handle your dress with the utmost care during alterations. However, we cannot be held responsible for any pre-existing damage or defects in the original fabric.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

If you decide to cancel the agreed-upon alterations, please notify us within 24 hours.
All alteration fees are non-refundable once work has begun.

7. Storage Policy
Finished dresses must be collected within 14 days of notification.
After that, a storage fee of £5/day may apply. Items unclaimed after 60 days may be donated or disposed of.

8. Final Fitting Approval
Clients are required to approve the garment at the final fitting. Any additional changes requested after approval may incur extra fees.

9. Completion and Customer Satisfaction
Refits are conducted to check all alterations and design changes. A dress will not leave our studio unless both parties are satisfied.
If you have any concerns about your garment, you must notify us immediately.

10. Collection of Dress and Care Responsibility
Customers are expected to inspect the dress and ensure satisfaction with the alterations before they leave the business.
Once the dress has left our premises, we are no longer responsible for it.

We assume no responsibility and will not be held liable for any damage that may occur to the dress after it has left our premises, whether caused by accident, misuse, or mishandling by the customer.

We recommend adding your wedding dress to your home insurance under "special items" for protection.

11. Excluded Services and Pricing Terms

Dry cleaning, steaming, and pressing are separate services and are not included in basic tailoring.
The initial quote is subject to change if the client requests modifications after the initial consultation (including those resulting from weight fluctuations or changes in footwear), or if additional materials are required.

12. Use of Images
With your consent, we may photograph your dress for marketing purposes. Names and personal information will not be shared without permission.

Please contact us if you have questions about the wedding dress alteration process.
